Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, speaking at the "Malaysia Stands with Palestine Rally," revealed he had received threats from western countries due to Malaysia's unwavering support for Palestinian rights and criticism of Israel. 

He stressed that Malaysia, as a sovereign nation, would maintain its independence while advocating for Palestinian freedom, asserting that these threats wouldn't make Malaysia compromise its principles.

Anwar, addressing over 20,000 supporters at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, criticized the United States for its perceived bias, condemning Russia over Ukraine while supporting Israel's actions in Palestine. He strongly condemned Israel's actions, including the deliberate killing of infants in attacks on hospitals and schools, labeling these acts as barbaric.

The Prime Minister questioned the international community's silence when Israel invades Palestine, deeming it a form of unjust behavior. He expressed gratitude for the appreciation shown by Arab nations like Qatar, Bahrain, and Egypt for Malaysia's efforts on the Palestinian genocide inflicted upon them by the Israeli government.

Anwar acknowledged the complexity of resolving the Palestinian conflict and highlighted the grim situation faced by Palestinian residents. He emphasized the need for ongoing encouragement and support for Palestinian freedom, concluding his speech with chants of "Long Live Palestine" and "Free Palestine."

Anwar's unwavering commitment to defending Palestinian rights, despite external pressure, reflects Malaysia's dedication to promoting justice and freedom on the global stage.
