Seven Foreign Workers Believed To Have Run Away From Quarantine Center In KL

Seven foreign workers who were living with suspected COVID-19 patients are believed to have escaped the quarantine center they were taken to after damaging the fence at the center, reports Oriental Daily.

The foreign men, said to be Indonesians and Bangladeshi, were noticed to have disappeared from the educational institution used as a quarantine center at 10 am on Monday (May 4). It is learnt that they were living at Selangor Mansion, Menara City One and Kampung Baru, with those who are suspected of being positive for COVID-19.

The doctors in charge informed the police right after they noticed the men’s disappearance, but they still couldn't be detected.

Running away while being under quarantine could not only endanger oneself but also others. Let’s hope the authorities find them soon.
