Based on announcement by Defense Minister Ismail Sabri earlier today, all interstate as well as interdistrict travel has been banned throughout the country, beginning from the 10th of May, right up till the 6th of June 2021. 

As reported, any traveling across borders will only be permitted for work purposes with a PDRM-approved work permit. Besides that, a letter from employers would also be required. 

Sabri also noted that all social activities during that period of time, which bring about large gatherings will by no means be authorized, as means to curb the spread of the virus.
