A devastating accident near Nenasi, Pekan, claimed the lives of a family of five after their Proton Wira Aeroback collided head-on with a Nissan Grand Livina. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 pm last night.
According to the Pahang Fire and Rescue Department, the Proton Wira was traveling towards Nenasi, while the Nissan Grand Livina was heading in the opposite direction towards Rompin. The force of the collision resulted in fatal injuries to all five occupants of the Proton Wira, which included a couple and their three children, one of whom was a baby.
All five victims died at the scene, the department confirmed in a statement.
The two individuals traveling in the Nissan Grand Livina sustained injuries and were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
