From iconic phrases to the way both countries mix English with local languages, the video was a spot-on (and super funny) comparison of our everyday speech.
Take for example the ever-iconic "lah" vs "leh" debate – Malaysians practically own the "lah," while Singaporeans are more likely to throw in a cheeky "leh." And when it comes to food, Singaporeans call it chap cai png while Malaysians say chap fan – but everyone knows it means one thing: mixed rice heaven.
It's the perfect reminder that while Singapore and Malaysia share a lot of cultural overlap, our language quirks are uniquely our own – and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.
