Even if you've never watched Stranger Things, the internet would have introduced you to Vecna at this point. In one of the scenes in Stranger Things 4, Max escapes the curse of Vecna by the power of...music. Yes, music.

Hypothetically speaking, if Vecna was real, which song do you think will save you from that skinned forsaken monster? Well, your Spotify probably has the answer.


Oh and this is what Vecna looks like, btw. Talk about  face only  mother could love...

How?

In the movie, what ultimately saves MAx from the vicious Vecna was the song Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) by the legendary Kate Bush. 


Similarly, Spotify used the song to introduce their own Upside Down Playlist, which includes songs from Stranger Things along with user favourites, which is individually curated according to your own favourite tracks, of course. 



According to Spotify themselves, "The Upside Down Playlist takes some of your favorite songs and mixes them with a handful of Stranger Things classics to create a vibe strong enough to ward off Hawkins most fearsome foe."
