Travelling can be exciting. Unfortunately, your skin may flake because of the dry conditions on board. This causes your skin to look dull and does not match the excitement you have. If you want to make sure that your skin looks amazing while on the plane, then you are in the right place! Read on and find out how!

1. Scrub and Stay Hydrated the Night Before

A scrub can clear away dead skin cells and impurities. Scrubbing can also prepare skin for moisturization. Gently massage your skin with a gentle scrub and wash it off with warm water. Then apply a hydrating mask that will hydrate your skin for the next day. Creamy and thick scrub is suitable for dry skin so that the skin can absorb moisture and create its natural barrier. On the other hand, gel-based scrub is suitable for oily skin so that your skin does not produce excess oil. A gentle scrub that is free from fragrance would be recommended to those with sensitive skin.

2. Eat fruits and vegetables

Eating antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables on the day before your flight can help you to hydrate your body with water.

3. Bring Your Beauty Kit

Place all skin type-friendly micellar water, a hydrating moisturizer with SPF, mist spray and lip balm in a clear bag and make sure that they do not exceed 100 ml.

4. Clear Your Make-Up

Before you go to sleep, spare some time to clean your make up with your favorite remover. It can let your skin breathe and prevent clogged pores.

5. Apply Moisturizer

 Once the skin is clean, apply a hydrating moisturizer with SPF15 or higher to fight against the dryness in the airplane cabin. Even if you’re not the best plane sleeper, you will land looking like you got enough sleep after moisturizing your skin. 

6. Avoid Taking Alcohol

To ensure your skin is hydrated, remember not to drink alcohol because it would dehydrate your body. Just drink water so you do not feel dizzy and look tired.
