An Egyptian man recently decided to divorce his wife only after one month of marriage. The reason? He'd finally seen his wife's real face without makeup.

The man had the shock of his life upon seeing his wife's bare face the morning after their wedding. The groom even went as far as filing a lawsuit against his wife. "I was deceived by her as she used to apply heavy makeup before marriage. She looks ugly without makeup," he told the court. 

According to the groom, he found her wife through Facebook and was attracted to her appearance as she would often upload beautiful pictures of herself with full makeup on. "I was shocked... as she looks nothing like the person I met several times before marriage.", the man said. 

This isn't an unprecedented case, however. There have been multiple cases where marriages were cut short when the husbands realized their wives don't look the same without makeup. 

Perhaps the lesson here is to spend extra time getting to know your significant other very well before agreeing on a long-term decision such as marriage.
