The story of the pregnant elephant that died after eating a pineapple stuffed with firecrackers have brought tears to our eyes. Today, there is another similar incident that would break our heart again.

Hindustan Times reported that a pregnant cow’s jaw was severely injured after she was fed wheat flour ball laced with firecrackers by a man. 

The animal abuse case occurred in May 26, but only came to light on Saturday (June 6) after the cow owner, Gurdial Singh uploaded a video of the injured animal on social media. The video has gone viral and people are demanding strict action against the man who abused the animal.

Singh alleged that his neighbor, Nand Lal Dhiman was the culprit and Nand Lal was arrested by the police on Saturday.

According to Singh, the cow has given birth to a healthy calf days after she was injured, but she was still unable to eat due to her injured jaw.

How could anyone do this to the innocent animal? This is mere cruelty. This has to stop!
