Every couple has their unique approach to raising children. Some shower them with luxury, while others learn the art of frugality from a young age.

Recently, a viral Facebook post by a teacher named Abdul Muiez shed light on the sacrifices his wife makes in raising their children. His wife, he shared, wakes up at the early hour of 4:30 AM to prepare meals for their children to take to school.

In addition to the packed meals, each child receives a daily allowance of RM3, which may seem modest in today's context. Abdul Muiez explained, "I give each child RM3 for spending money, including those in secondary school. RM1 is allocated for the morning school session, while RM2 is for the afternoon session. This amounts to RM12 per day for our four children."

He acknowledged that while the amount may seem meager, it represents a significant sacrifice on his wife's part. She rises early to cook and packs a lunch comprising rice, side dishes, fruits, and water, ensuring their growing children receive nutritious meals.

The children often share their meals with friends, depleting the provisions daily. The RM1 in the morning is meant for snacks, and upon returning home in the afternoon, they use the remaining RM2 for lunch during the second school session.

Abdul Muiez emphasized that their cost-cutting measures require substantial sacrifices. He clarified that his intention in sharing this story was not to belittle other parents but to highlight that every couple has its own unique approach to parenting.

"This is our way of economizing, but my wife has to make significant sacrifices. It's not just about waking up early; she also goes to bed early, around 9 PM. That's the extent of her sacrifice. I love my wife," he expressed.

Abdul Muiez's Facebook post garnered over 9,600 likes and numerous comments from supportive netizens. Many commended the couple's efforts to save money, while others praised the wife's dedication in waking up at 4:30 AM every day.

"Wow, you're fortunate to have such a diligent wife. I don't think I could manage that. Nowadays, life requires diligence and sacrifices, so cherish a wife who willingly sacrifices time and energy," wrote one netizen.

"Most of us can relate. Life is tough. By 9 PM, we're already asleep. Waking up at 4 AM to prepare meals for four children. I've been through it from my first grader to high school. Teaching them to pack their own lunches," shared another.

In essence, Abdul Muiez's post not only reflects the challenges of parenting but also underscores the different ways couples navigate the journey, each with its own set of sacrifices and expressions of love.
