The fact that Malaysians are overworked and underpaid these days is very evident.
Also, it can be very overwhelming to the point that it compromises your physical and emotional well-being. Although many people must work multiple jobs to make ends meet, they do not always have the luxury of maintaining a work-life balance.

An episode of Jom Sembang, a podcast presented by well-known actress Amelia Henderson, featured Janna Nick as a guest speaker who discussed work-life balance.
In a snippet posted on Twitter, Janna Nick was seen laughing before saying, "I have noticed that today's generation wants to have a work-life balance. I'm sorry but I only managed to afford that now at 28."
Known as a singer, Janna used to work as a sales girl before she came out to the spotlight and became financially secure.
She mentioned in the video if an individual has yet to secure their first goal in life, then might as well forget about that balance unless their parents are rich.
After that statement, Amelia was seen nodding her head in agreement with regard to the topic.

Since the video came out, netizens took offence to Janna's words saying that she was being rude and insensitive as many people out there are hustling few jobs and here she is underestimating people who are seeking to have a work-life balance.

Amelia responded by noting that Janna wasn't making fun of anybody who wanted to reach that goal; rather, she was just laughing because only she knew how much effort it had taken for her to succeed and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
