Over the weekend, news emerged that RM4.6 million worth of casino chips were stolen from SkyCasino in Genting Highlands. The security management noticed the missing chips on Saturday evening, following a break-in at one of the casinos.
A report has been filed, and the police are actively investigating the culprits behind the robbery. The assistant manager, who witnessed the crime and reported it, has chosen not to divulge any further details.
Notably, there were rumours last year about a potential robbery, but authorities later confirmed that no such incident had occurred.
