M'sians Agree That This Is How Ipoh Signboards Should Be Placed

We all look forward to the drive to Ipoh, especially when we get to treat ourselves to great food at the end of the day.

Without a doubt, though, a lot of us have missed the exit owing to signboards that are impossible to see, especially when they're going fast in the right lane. These green signboards have been upgraded since then, yet it still doesn't appear to be enough.

Did you know that if you missed the 141 exit to Ipoh, you would need to drive to the next exit, which is Kuala Kangsar which is literally 50 kilometres away?! So imagine this, just so you can get to the exit again, you would have to drive a total of 100 kilometres.

The ideal location for Ipoh signboards along the highway is shown in this viral TikTok video. They are literally placed along the highway, say every 500 metres to alert cars when the exit is almost nearing.

That way, the majority of Malaysians wouldn't have to risk hurting themselves or other drivers on the road by hitting the brakes and reversing their cars in the middle of the highway.
