Malaysia's very own badminton ace apparently has a "waxy" twin now!
On Oct. 13, Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei was honoured with his very own wax figure by none other than Madame Tussauds- making him the first ever Malaysian athlete to earn such commemoration.
Lee was present for the grand unveiling, which took place at Madame Tussauds Singapore. The feat was years-long in the making, as the champion had gotten his measurements way back in 2019.
Delighted fans will still have the chance to view the figure in Singapore, before it's flown out to Hong Kong permanently by the first quarter of 2023.
