The Gempak Most Wanted Awards 2022 were just hosted, and Ryan Bakery was named Most Wanted Content Creator. Yet, few people are aware of his life journey prior to becoming a content creator.

Ryan stated that he, too, considered that life was difficult at times and that he had to use his wife's name, Elyia Ibrahim, to obtain a bank loan in order to purchase a car that he still uses today.

According to Ryan, his wife was willing to spend thousands of ringgit on equipment to produce the viral content that has been created so far.

He further stated that Elyia is the only person who believes in his ability in this profession, as shown by his millions of social media followers.

"Her efforts are one of the reasons I've gotten to where I am now. A large amount of capital has been paid. She would buy everything I desired, "Ryan stated.

As Ryan was named the winner of the "Best Digital Content Creator" award, Elyia reportedly found it difficult to control her tears.

The path they took together to get to where they are now was bittersweet, Elyia said.

Ryan and Elyia are said to have met six years ago while working together as airline employees.

Nevertheless, Ryan lost his job in 2020 when the country was struck by the pandemic. Despite this, Elyia continued to support Ryan during this trying period.
