Continuing her streak of making headlines, the beauty businesswoman decided yesterday to introduce a new collaboration of her brand ‘Noor’ with local footwear ‘Fipper’, creating something known as ‘Muslim-friendly’ slippers. 

Costing RM79.90 (original Fipper RM16.90), she was quickly accused of exploiting the Muslim religion for entrepreneurial purposes. 

Since her announcement, and people going ‘huh?’, netizens have had a ball with the mockery. We’re going to be honest though, people are funny and some laughs were certainly had. 

From a controversial wedding, to a honeymoon debacle, Chatime to the rescue, free marketing and now Muslim slippers, it would appear that alongside doing whatever she wants, Neelofa sure as hell keeps us all very entertained.
