For someone who prides himself in being an established commentator and journalist, Bill O’ Reilly certainly ruffled some feathers with his recent commentary on Malaysia.
The 76-year-old American came under fire for his controversial take on Chinese President Xi Jinping’s trip to Malaysia, whereby he called it “a waste of Jinping’s time as Southeast Asia is poor”.
The video was even posted on his Youtube channel, which showed him mocking and belittling Malay community.
“Because we have the money, we buy the stuff. The Malays aren’t going to buy your stuff. They don’t have any money.”
Following Reilly’s remarks, many were quick to give a humorous clap back. And among them was Malaysian influencer who’s known as Kenji Matata on TikTok.
His rather witty response has been lauded by netizens, and hopefully be able to shed light on just how wealthy we are despite the stereotype.
