The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Abdul Hamid Bador has confirmed that a police officer has died due to COVID-19. "A police officer has died due to the COVID-19 disease. There are others who are infected because of their travel history to overseas or being linked to the tabligh clutser," he said.
It is reported that so far, 33 police officers have tested positive for COVID-19, while about 750 members of their families are now under quarantine.
