Not just to challenge himself but also as a way of creating awareness in society to love animals especially snakes that are normally feared by people, Adam Haris Muhammad Rizwan, a 13-year-old boy in Penang plans to stay in a room with 5 pythons on the 31st of August 2021.

He also wants to create his own personal record by staying with the 5 snakes in small room for 6 hours and 40 minutes and he choose the 31st of August, because wants his vacay with the snakes to be a part of his Merdeka Day celebrations. 

He has big plans for those six hours! He plans to read, finish his homework or pay some video games. I would do all three things but without the snakes, please! 

Don’t worry though, he is and experienced snake friend. Since he was little, he used to play with the snakes which are his father’s pets and has knowledge about the behavior of the reptile. 

His father, Muhammad Ridwan Abdullah Zawawi said that he has already made sure that it is safe for his son in that room by making sure he is present and watching over his son just in case of anything.  

He gave the people from NST a little introduction to his snakes saying he has 18 snakes in total, the smallest one is about 14 feet and the biggest, 26 feet. He even gave them names, his favourites being Cik Kiah (300kg), Joyah (100kg) and Kak Timah (100kg).
