Penang will officially undergo MCO 3.0, beginning from 10th May to 23rd May. 

Affected areas include:

• North East

• Central of Seberang Perai 

• South of Seberang Perai 

• Mukim 12, South West

• Butterworth, North of Seberang Perai 

• Muki 14, North of Seberang Perai 

In regards to this announcement, interdistrict and interstate travels are hereby prohibited. As for the SOPs, it will adhere to the current ones as administered by the government. For more info on the SOPs, click here.

Bazaar in MCO areas are not allowed to operate starting from 10/5/21.

#Sports, Gym, Recreation 
Sports and individual recreation activities are allowed provided it is not a close contact activities and 1.5 meters social distancing is implied. However, whether gym is allowed to operate or otherwise still remains uncertain. (Updated)
