AIA has confirmed that an agent at its branch in Plaza 33 has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Those who had come in close contact with the affected agent are required to self-quarantine at home. All employees working at the AIA branch are ordered to work from home since.
As reported by Sinchew, the agent, who had attended a training in the Petaling Jaya branch on March 4, was identified as a confirmed case by the Ministry of Health.

On the other hand, as a precautionary measure, Plaza 33 requires all visitors to check for body temperature at the lobby, while “visitors to tenant’s office are encouraged to complete a short questionnaire to confirm their recent travels.” Any visitors who showed symptoms, like coughing or flu may be denied entry or asked to leave.
