WATCH: 4 Vehicle Accident In KL Leaves 2 Motorcyclist Severely Injured

PETALING JAYA - Two motorcyclists were seriously injured in a road accident involving four vehicles in Jalan Kuching, Kuala Lumpur, last Tuesday.

Deputy Head of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, Superintendent Zulkafli Chek Lah said the incident happened at about 11:50 pm.

“Preliminary investigation found that the accident involved two vehicles, a Perodua Viva and a Toyota Vios as well as two motorcycles a Yamaha Scooter and a Modenas Kriss.

“The Perodua Viva vehicle was driven by a man who was driving from the Kinabalu roundabout towards Kepong, when he arrived at the crash site, the driver lost control, skidded, entered the opposite lane and collided with a Toyota Vios vehicle.

"As a result of the accident, two motorcycles from the direction of Jalan Kuching to the city center could not dodge and collided with the vehicles involved," he said in a statement today.

Zulkafli also explained that two motorcyclists who suffered serious injuries were taken to hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Perodua Viva vehicle did not suffer any injuries and was traced for follow -up action.

People who have information or were at the scene are asked to come to the nearest police station or contact the Traffic Police Station (JSPT), Jalan Tun H.S. Lee at 03-2071 9999 or the JSPT Kuala Lumpur hotline at 03-20260267/69 to assist in the investigation.
