A TikTok video of a wedding ceremony recently went viral, piqued netizens' interest owing to the groom's bedridden state.

According to reports, this is related to a hip fracture sustained in a car accident. Notwithstanding the obstacles, the pair was still determined to get married.

A little background on how the tragedy happened: the groom was travelling from his hometown in Kedah to Kuala Lumpur when he was involved in a major car accident that required him to undergo hip pinning surgery.

As a result, his movements were limited and he had to remain bedridden.

Regardless of all the challenges thrown their way, the pair was determined to marry. Initially, the wedding was scheduled for March 4th at the bride's family house in Perak. But, because the groom is now recovering from surgery at his home in Kedah, they chose to change the wedding venue.
