Mael Lambong Asis, a Malaysian TikToker is known for his adventurous spirit, embarked on an extraordinary journey to experience the in-flight meals of two different airlines. 

This culinary escapade took him on three return flights, offering a unique opportunity to indulge in a variety of airline cuisines.

Mael's gastronomic adventure began with an AirAsia flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bahru. As the aircraft soared through the sky, he eagerly unwrapped the Sesame Chicken Wrap that awaited him. The flavours danced on his taste buds, impressing him enough to grant it a commendable rating of 8 out of 10. Energized by this positive start, Mael looked forward to the next leg of his journey.

Returning to Kuala Lumpur on the same AirAsia flight, Mael found himself craving another delightful in-flight meal. This time, he opted for the airline's renowned Chicken Satay. The succulent skewers served with a delectable peanut sauce, surpassed his expectations, earning a noteworthy rating of 9 out of 10. As the flight descended, Mael couldn't help but appreciate the airline's commitment to delivering a satisfying dining experience.

With a taste for adventure still lingering, Mael proceeded to KLIA2 to board a MyAirline flight bound for Kota Bahru once again. Eager to explore a new culinary offering, he ordered the BBQ Chicken Rice with great anticipation. 

Unfortunately, his excitement quickly waned as he discovered that the rice was undercooked and the accompanying garlic sauce failed to enhance the dish. Disappointed by the lacklustre presentation, he gave it a regrettable rating of 3 out of 10.

Undeterred by this setback, Mael, fueled by his unwavering spirit, reboarded the MyAirline flight with the crew recognizing him from his previous trip. This time, he decided to sample their Nasi Briyani. 

To his dismay, the dish proved to be an extreme disappointment, with flavours that failed to meet his expectations. Regrettably, he awarded it a paltry rating of 2 out of 10.

As the day drew to a close, Mael found himself on his final flight, from Kuala Lumpur to Miri. A glimmer of hope remained as he anxiously awaited the Nasi Lemak dish that awaited him onboard. To his delight, the airline managed to deliver a dish that resonated with his taste buds. The fragrant coconut rice, accompanied by an array of tantalizing condiments, earned high praise from Mael, receiving an impressive rating of 9 out of 10.

Concluding his epic culinary adventure, Mael decided to indulge in a familiar favourite - the ever-popular Maggi Kari Cup. This simple yet beloved instant noodle dish had always held a special place in the hearts of many. As he slurped down the comforting noodles amidst the clouds, Mael couldn't help but marvel at the unbeatable taste. Driven by nostalgia and an undeniable craving, he gave it a bias-defying rating of 11 out of 10.
