With the rise of paedophilia in Malaysia, parents, family and the general public of Malaysia are unnerved.
A latest case which have brought about some concerns, is a TikTok by a Syariah lawyer Hasanah Johari. She shared via her platform that a 37yo man is seeking to marry his niece, 18 years of age, despite disapproval by family members.
Clearly against the alliance, she has taken it upon herself to highlight the dangers of enabling such inappropriate relationships. She notes that relationships such as these have clear signs of ignoring boundaries.
She also clearly stressed that such actions are both morally and legally wrong, touching on the vileness of child grooming.
