Guess this was one of those pranks that backfired badly!

This couple found quite a hilarious way of budging their toddler, but not without a costly outcome it seemed. 

In a video shared by the woman, she explained that her eyes had been itchy, hence the use of the eyedrop. 

However, unbeknown to the both of them, her husband had instead picked up a Stevia bottle which resembled the medication.

As the liquid began to seep into her eye, the realization kicked in. Amid the chaos, she noted that her eyes began to “taste sweet”. Apparently, the effect lasted for a few hours.
