In a tragic incident that unfolded at 7:40 PM last night, an elderly man identified as Ah Kau, aged 80, and a well-known fruit vendor, was discovered lifeless with apparent stab wounds to his face and body in front of a two-story terrace house in Taman OUG, Kuala Lumpur.

Brickfields District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Amihizam Abdul Shukor, revealed that following a public tip-off, the police swiftly responded to the scene on Jalan Hujan Emas 5 in Taman OUG.

"Upon examination, the victim was found lying in front of a two-story terrace house, fully clothed and bleeding profusely. A witness, who is also a tenant of the house, informed us that the deceased used the area to store fruits for sale in the morning market," he stated in an official statement today.

Amihizam disclosed that as a result of subsequent investigations, four male foreign nationals aged between 29 and 53 years old have been apprehended to assist in the ongoing investigation.

"At present, the police are actively pursuing other potential suspects for further inquiry. However, we are still in the process of determining the true motive behind this homicide and conducting the investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code," he added.

He urged the public not to engage in any speculation regarding this case.
