1. Life-sized Labubu doll at Yongle International Auction in Beijing (RM636,000)
The world's first auction held solely for the viral toy plushie saw a 131cm mint-green figure for RM636,000.
It was the highest-grossing item of the auction, setting a new record for the toy which sells in Pop Mart stores for anywhere between RM93 to RM3,816.
2. A tall brown Labubu figurine (RM593,600)
At the same auction, another tall brown Labubu doll sold for RM593,600.
3. Three Wise Labubu (RM300,616)
At Sothebys Modern & Contemporary Discoveries auction in Hong Kong, the 'Don't Hear, Don't See, Don't Speak' series was sold for RM109,774.
However, the price was beaten at the later Beijing auction, when another set sold for RM300,616.
4. Sacai x Seventeen x Labubu up for bidding at Pharrell Williams' auction house (RM1,431,424)
The Sacai x Seventeen cultural crossover released a capsule collection that featured Labubus best-selling Blind Box with 14 unique dolls inside.
All dolls collectively received RM1,431,424. One doll alone was sold for RM132,500 while another for RM95,400. The auction took place at Pharrell Williams' auction house.
5. Labubu x Vans Old Skool Vinyl Plush Doll (RM15,124)
Thanks to its demand, the creation commands a high resale price that can go upwards of RM15,124.
So, if you thought they were pricey before, then know you're barely scratching the surface.
