Nowadays, scammers are really shameless. They even dare to cheat our badminton legend Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei?! The result is of course that they humiliated themselves and were counter-tricked by Lee Chong Wei. It's so funny!

According to China Press, Lee Chong Wei recently posted on Facebook, sharing his experience of receiving a scam call. The other party started with a shocking question, "Are you Lee Chong Wei?" Hearing this, he was instantly alert. "Generally, people who know me will give me face and call me Datuk instead of calling me by my name."

The other party claimed to be from a "crime prevention unit" in Cyberjaya, saying that Lee Chong Wei's phone number was suspected of fraud in Malacca and that he should "cancel this number immediately" and threatened him to cooperate with the investigation.

It was an old trick, and it was exposed by Lee Chong Wei in no time. Lee Chong Wei calmly responded: "What right do you have to shut it down? If you want to shut it down, I will report it to the police and report that my number has been stolen." Then he turned the tables and asked the other party for the office address.

The scammer acted very seriously and said: "If you want to come to our Cyberjaya office, you have to arrive before 12 noon." Looking at the time, it was already 11:30. Lee Chong Wei replied humorously: "Do you think I fly a plane?"

The scammer started to get anxious and tried to intimidate him with his "official authority": "You'd better take this seriously! My Officer will contact you." Lee Chong Wei directly launched the ultimate counterattack: "Okay, you ask your Officer to call me, and I will ask the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to call you." The other party was speechless and finally hung up the phone helplessly.

As soon as the post was published, it attracted heated discussions among netizens, who said, "Don't scammers do their homework nowadays?" Many people even left comments and joked, "These scammers are really brave enough to test Datuk!", "Next time there is a similar situation, just call him directly, respect me! I am Datuk Wira!!! Hahahaha"

However, despite the jokes, Lee Chong Wei also reminded everyone to remain vigilant: "Don't be afraid if you have a clear conscience." If you encounter similar fraudulent calls, hang up immediately and verify the situation through official channels.
