The wait is over for all you K-Drama fans as 3 popular shows are returning for a new season this month! 

If you’re kinda over the multiple seasons and all that, then you should still be excited for more romantic dramas with one featuring the latest up-and-comer in the K-drama world, Song Kang. 

+ Season 3 of The Penthouse – June 4

The long-awaited primetime melodrama The Penthouse Season 3 is finally here after the shocking death during the Season 2 finale. 

For what may be the final season, a new villain was introduced but with The Penthouse, you must always expect the unexpected. 


+ Hospital Playlist 2 – June 17

Korea’s Grey’s Anatomy Hospital Playlist returns with a second season with all you favourite characters back saving lives at at Yulje Medical Centre. 

Just like Grey’s, prepare yourself for heartbreaking stories, new struggles and the friendship built among the characters as they go through life together. 


+ Voice 4 – June 19

After a long break, Voice is back for season 4 this month. Lee Ha-na is back as Kang Kwon-joo with her highly developed sense of hearing, solving violent crimes as the leader of the 112-emergency call centre. 

Working together with her new partner from the Los Angeles Police Department, Derek Jo, they track down a serial killer who also has a special haring ability. 


+ Nevertheless – June 19

Rising star Song Kang returns to steal your heart in yet another romantic show Nevertheless where he plays a university art student who is friendly but also doesn’t really care about others and has little to no desire for romance. 

He slowly evolves and changes his character after falling for his course mate who was hurt in the past by a cheating ex and had kept her heart closed since then. 


+ Monthly Magazine Home – June 16

Real estate and romance, the 2 Rs that we will never get tired of. Jung So-Min plays the role of a diligent editor of the Monthly Magazine Home that despite of her 10 years of hard work is still forced to pay rent for her beloved rental home. 

Then, a new landlord who started from the bottom but now is a rich CEO just wants to increase his wealth while she just wants to buy the home that she lives in. 


+ Blue Spring from a Distance – June 14

Another youth romance that follows the storyline of a wealthy but aloof young man who slowly falls for a scrappy young woman. Although born rich, he lacked affection from his family growing up. 

Get ready for a potential love triangle which includes one of the top students who works hard to support his family.
