Instead of taking a flight and then a ferry to Pulau Bintan, there's another way you can travel without changing transportation in between.

This is perfect for those who are especially from Johor Bahru!

Well, this TikToker(@housegeniusofficial) recently traveled to Pulau Bintan, Indonesia and it only took three hours! If you don't mind being on the water for that long then get yourself a ticket to Tanjung Pinang from Stulang Laut, JB!

If you're from another state and you're driving to Johor Bahru, you can park your car at the Waterfront for a flat rate of RM5, per day which is pretty reasonable.

You can purchase the tickets via the Berjaya Waterfront website. What's mind-blowing is that the one-way ticket to your destination only costs RM151 including travel insurance. For children, the price for a one-way ticket is RM116.

So there's only one ferry to get to your destination and it is available at 3 pm, daily. Just be at the immigration gate 30mins before departure so you don't miss out on your ferry.

Unlike flights, you are allowed to bring your own snacks on the ferry. Not only is it a shorter travel than flights but it's also surprisingly comfortable for all.

In the video, the content creator mentioned you would also be given a vaccine declaration form while on the ferry so you just have to fill it up and pass it to the person in charge once done.

For their trip, they've already pre-booked a hotel that is just a five-minute walk from the jetty. And they even advised as travelers, there's a high chance to be scammed by ticket touts, so better to check the legitimacy of the sellers before purchasing. And instead of booking normal cabs in town, simple just opt for Gojek or GoCar – their version of our Grab and InDriver.

So black out the dates for your next getaway and try out this travel hack!
