The incident happened separately on June 6th, 2021 and July 10th 2021, between 8-9 PM at a longhouse in Tatau, Bintulu. The man has since then been arrested and pleaded guilty to his charges.
Prior to the offense, the victim had asked to borrow a mobile phone from him, who instead showed her a pornographic video on his device before committing the rape.
