He has been seen on the area's CCTV dealing with animal abuse, especially in relation to a well-liked dog who is well-known in the neighbourhood.

Several people have remarked on how well-mannered the dog is and how when there are passersby, he doesn't bark as much as other dogs do.

We don't know what drove this man to want to hurt the unfortunate dog, but it was evident from the video that he was attempting to set the animal ablaze.

As horrific as it sounds, the dog was seen desperately rushing away as its tail went up in flames.
