It would appear that Korea's most eligible bachelor is tying the knot, and we're not crying you are!
Based on his recent announcement, Kim Jong-kook is ending his single era at 49 years of age.
While filming a recent Running Man episode in Pyeongtaek, Jong-kook made the important announcement with guests Jang Dong-yoon and Kim Ah-young.
He also took the news to his fan café, saying, 'I always thought this day would come but now that I'm writing this, I'm more nervous and anxious than I ever imagined. I'm getting married.'
He added that the ceremony will be held in the near future, in a small setting with family and a few close friends, while also promising fans that he'll continue to work hard.
The identity of his other half has yet to be revealed, but apparently he has been dropping hints for a long time now.
For instance, early this year, Jong-kook purchased a luxury villa in the Gangnam district of Seoul, reportedly worth 6.2 billion won. When asked about his purchase during a variety show, he said he did not have someone to marry yet but if he did, that house would become their newlywed house.
