The interstate travel relaxation is expected to be announced in a few days as Malaysia inches towards a 90% vaccination rate for all adults. 

"What we have done lately is largely based on the considerations shown by the data obtained." Senior Minister of Defense, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein stated in a press conference today. "Once the 90% target is achieved, we shall wait for the announcement by the Prime Minister." 

Today, Minister of Health Khairy Jamaluddin has also announced that the implementation of roadblocks will be annulled once interstate travel is allowed. However, random spot checks at public spaces will still be conducted to ensure the public still adheres to the SOPs.
