3 Governments Later: Viral Tweet Questions Malaysia's Incompetence

10-Nov-2021

If there is any place you can count on people calling people out when they are screwing up, it is Twitter.

Five years ago, in 2016, a netizen asked My Rapid KL via the platform, to fix a less than perfect escalator at Sri Rampai, Kuala Lumpur. Five years and three governments later, according to the tweet, nothing changed.

The rant posted earlier today, quickly garnered over 12k retweets, almost 14k likes, and various comments, upset at the nation's governance on the matter.

Rapid KL has of course replied, once again. But would it be fixed this time? Seems like only time (another 5 years?) can tell.
