A heartwarming story of compassion and kindness recently went viral on social media, touching the hearts of many netizens. The post was shared by a mother named Norshahada Shada, who was deeply moved by her son's actions.

In the post, Norshahada recounts how her son Iskandar handed her a piece of paper and asked her what to do with it. Iskandar explained that his classmate was struggling to break his fast and had no food for sahur (pre-dawn meal).

"We who have experienced hardship in life, certainly do understand the struggles of this child," Norshahada wrote.

The post revealed that Iskandar's classmate came from a broken family, with both parents separated and no one looking after him except his grandparents.

What's even more heart-wrenching is that his grandfather is visually impaired, and their only source of income is from his grandmother who is still working to make ends meet.

Norshahada added that the boy only asked for enough food to eat, and not much more.

Moved by Iskandar's kind gesture and the boy's situation, Norshahada opened up a donation drive to help the boy and his family. She also shared that she would ask Iskandar to personally bring the donations to their home.

The post quickly gained traction on social media, with many netizens expressing their desire to help the young girl and her family. Some even commented that they were inspired by Iskandar's kindness and compassion for others.

However, Norshahada later updated the post to say that they had received enough donations for the boy and that any further donations would be unnecessary.

She also apologized to the boy's family stating that there was no intention to cause offence and that the donations were meant as a gift to help them.

Overall, this heartwarming story reminds us of the power of compassion and the impact that one small act of kindness can have on someone's life. It also shows that in times of need, people can come together to help those who are less fortunate.
