A woman in China met an untimely demise when she was bitten by a poisonous centipede hiding in her shirt. 

The woman went into anaphylactic shock reaction immediately after being bitten and was pronounced dead once arrived at the hospital. 

According to the doctor who treated her, the centipede's venom that bit her was equivalent to that of a poisonous snake, which led to her death.

What Should You Do If You Get Bitten? 

If you find yourself with a centipede bite, disinfect the wound immediately and apply ice to reduce any swelling. The pain should subside in a few days. There are also other ways, such as:

1. Tie a cloth around the wounds to prevent the venom from spreading. Untie every 15 minutes.

2. Wash the wounds with soapy water or other alkaline liquids

However, if you experience any severe symptoms, it's best to seek medical attention at once.
