TikToker Zoe Gabriel (@zohtaco) certainly laughed all the way to the Charles & Keith headquarters following her viral video. The sweet Singaporean had posted a video showing her gratitude and excitement to her father for gifting her 'first luxury bag'. 

Trolls, however, were quick to condemn her by pointing out that the homegrown brand is not luxurious. Gabriel then posted a follow-up video, where she explained her family's humble beginnings.

"My family didn't have a lot. We couldn't buy things as simple as bread from BreadTalk when we first moved to Singapore. Your comment spoke volumes on how ignorant you seem because of your wealth."

Kind netizens have since rallied around the teenager due to her lovely nature by offering immense support and well-wishes, including speaking up on their personal 'privilege' stories. 

Clearly the ordeal turned into a silver lining for Gabriel, as the video captured the attention of founders Charles and Keith Wong.

Taking pride in Gabriel's humility and gracefulness, the duo extended their personal invitation to the TikToker and her father, where they were treated to a lunch and private tour of the Charles & Keith headquarters on Wednesday.
