In mid-oct Blackpink held their Deadline World Tour concert in Taiwan, and on an Instagram post dated Oct.23, Lisa posted a series of pics including two selfies showcasing her iPhone with a Heartsping phone grip.
Heartsping is a character from a S.Korean animated tv series Catch! Teenieping. It’s about a magical princess Romi who comes to Earth to capture the cute and michievous Teeniepings (creatures with unique powers attached to an emotion).
Since her selfies, the series’ parent company SAMG Entertainment had a major boost the next morning on the stock exchange Kosadaq with stock prices up by 5%.
Besides that, there was also an increase in searches for Catch! Teenieping toys merch, especially among Lisa’s fans.
Previously, Lisa (with her 106 million followers) contributed to the Labubu and Pop Mart craze, making the search and resale of figurines rise by 30 times its original price.
