According to their neighbors, the couple had been facing family problems and would often be heard quarreling with each other. The husband murdered his wife, by stabbing her to death with a sharp knife after learning that his wife was diagnosed with Covid-19.
Shortly after the murder, the husband then jumped to his death from the high floors of their apartment. Both husband and wife were in their 40s.
