It is also stated that the company will undertake sanitizing and disinfection activities in all facilities between 10 and 13 March.
Those who have come into close contact with the affected employee will be contacted by the Ministry of Health.
The company has also thoughtfully reminded employees to seek treatment if they showed any signs of Covid-19.
It says, “In the meantime, if you show any known Covid-19 symptoms, please seek treatment at the closest government health clinics and inform your direct manager as well as your local HR representative.”
Chinapress reported that the partner of the affected employee is said to be infected as well. However, another notice reveals that the employee is not married.
As a precautionary step, the PIBK of SJKC Chong CHeng and SJKC Keong Hoe have granted students whose parents are working at the Motorola factory to stay home until further notice.
