Coperni is no stranger when it comes to creating unique fashion pieces. The French label’s newest bag design certainly made waves during the recent Paris Fashion Week, and it’s “out of this world”.

Unveiling its signature Swipe bag but made entirely of air and glass, the aerogel material is said to be the lightest element on Earth. 

Also, it’s so light that even Nasa at one point had it developed for catching stardust in outer space.

Functionality wise, Coperni lauds that the bag can hold 4000 times its weight, but we have yet to see anyone outside the runway putting it to test.

The design has since gone viral on social media, with curious viewers commenting “it holds my hopes and dreams” and “fragile like my mental state”.
