Two Loyal Sons In Perak Sacrificed Their Own Lives To Save Their Drowning Mother

Abdul Rahman Ramli, 26, and his brother-in-law, Ahmad Asymuni Idris, 42, drowned in an attempt to save their mother and another sibling, who were swimming at Sungai Air Beruk, Kampung Padang Stang.

Gerik District Police Chief, Superintendent Zulkifli Mahmood, said the incident occurred when the two victims tried to rescue Abdul Rahman's mother and brother who were about to drown. "The victim's mother was able to be rescued just in time along with the victim's younger brother who also almost drowned, while both victims were confirmed dead at the scene by the medical team from Gerik Hospital," he continued.

The mother is reportedly in a stable condition and is currently receiving treatment at the nearest hospital. May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.
