SHOCKING: Singaporean Man Killed As Vehicle Veers Off Road In Penang, Plunges Into Ravine

The Penang State Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) received an emergency call at 12:59 noon regarding a road accident near TCF SIM Enterprise, Jalan PAYA Terubong, Sungai Nibong, Penang.


Upon receiving the call, the fire brigade team from BBP Jalan Perak promptly moved to the scene. Assistance from BBP Paya Terubong was also dispatched to the location. Fourteen firefighters, one LFRT vehicle, and one FRT vehicle were assigned to this operation.

The Duty Operation Commander, Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Fadli bin Omar, reported a road accident involving a Proton Persona vehicle that had veered off the road and fallen into a ravine. 


The fire department also received initial information that the accident had occurred several days prior. The accident involved a male victim of Chinese ethnicity who was a Singaporean national and had tragically passed away.

The victim was confirmed deceased by St. John's Ambulance personnel and subsequently handed over to the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) for further action.
