ICYMI: Dad's Salary Is RM3k & Mom's Salary Is RM15k. Their Child Don't Understand Why Mom Needs Dad!

According to Sin Chew Daily, Malaysian female entrepreneur in the baby products industry, Nad Masrom, recently shared her views on her Facebook page, sparking heated discussion.

Masrom pointed out that she recently received a submission from a mother who said that her husband was very concerned about her breastfeeding in public, and that it was considered indecent even with a veil covering her breasts.

Masrom was also very dissatisfied with the fact that some people compared breastfeeding to a dog feeding its babies. He believed that public stereotypes or prejudices were gradually stigmatizing breastfeeding.

"There are many more nice-sounding mammals like cats, rabbits, whales, etc. that can be used as metaphors, but women who breastfeed outside are compared to bitches."

Masrom also stressed the benefits of hoods for breastfeeding women, saying that a typical hood is as large as a tablecloth.

Therefore, Masrom pointed out that if some people still regard breastfeeding as indecent when using a veil to cover sensitive parts, it is enough to prove that these people have impure minds and can imagine the scene under the veil without being able to see anything.

Faced with accusations that women can breastfeed in public at any time or choose not to bottle-feed their children, Masrom gave a strong rebuttal and his rational remarks were praised by netizens.

"Basically, babies cannot afford to delay breastfeeding, and some shopping malls have very remote nursing rooms. So why should mothers be prohibited from feeding their children when they are wearing a hood to cover their sensitive parts?"

"As for bottle-feeding, it is a personal choice. Why should we deny children all the rights and methods of being fed?"

"It's normal for men to look at sexy women, so why is it considered indecent to see a mother breastfeeding in public?"

All we can say is that being a woman is difficult, and being a mother is even more difficult.

We hope the public can view breastfeeding in a reasonable and tolerant manner and create a better society.
