In a bittersweet turn of events, the popular Taylor's University food outlet, Darun bid farewell to its beloved chef, Hassan, as the business faced tough times and decided to close its shutters.
With a heavy heart, I pulled the shutters on our Taylors outlet yesterday and bade farewell to our chef, Hassan.

Despite serving flavoursome dishes at reasonable prices, the outlet encountered challenges due to a lack of F&B experience and an unfavourable location.
In our minds we were doing everything right. We were growing and bound for success.

Initially, the outlet enjoyed a promising start, attracting Taylor's students and locals alike, but as time passed, the dependency on students became evident. Efforts to diversify the menu and embrace food delivery platforms helped, but the location remained a hindrance.
So we made the drastic decision to move.

Our issue was never with COOX as a provider, so naturally we scouted their other locations.

So thats how we started the year in Taylors, and have now found our new home at Glo Damansara.
