Imagine being able to impress an iconic musical legend with your talent, at the tender age of 13!
That was the case for Adawiya Farikh, whose encounter with Datuk DJ Dave at Jonker Walk in Melaka, has created a lasting impact on him.
Adawiya, who’s gaining recognition as a violinist, proved her musical prowess by playing a rendition of DJ Dave’s song, much to his adoration.
And he was so impressed by Adawiya, that he spontaneously belted the tunes, forming sort of a duet with her.
DJ Dave then posted the video on his TikTok page, and was singing praises of Adawiya’s force.
He also shared hopes of introducing her on a bigger platform as a protege, and many viewers agreed with the notion.
