In light of the guilty plea, Judge Ahmad Fadli Mahmud handed down the verdict, ordering Muhammad Iqyyum to pay a fine of RM7,000. Additionally, the judge issued a three-month prison sentence should the defendant fail to meet the fine payment.

Nonetheless, he took responsibility for his actions by settling the fine as ordered by the court. The prosecution of the case was conducted by Communication and Multimedia Commission Officer, Siti Hajar Sulaiman.

Interestingly, prior to this court ruling, Kosmo! Online reported on May 31st that Muhammad Iqyyum was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Sessions Court. This warrant came about after he failed to attend a hearing related to the charge of distributing the pornographic video involving his former girlfriend.

The case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of responsible online behavior and respecting others' privacy. Such incidents also highlight the need for individuals to exercise caution when using digital platforms and to be mindful of the far-reaching consequences that may arise from their actions.

As technology continues to advance, it is imperative that individuals understand the legal implications of their online conduct. The incident involving Muhammad Iqyyum Basri underscores the significance of adhering to the law and treating others with dignity and respect, both offline and in the digital realm.
