Malaysian cuisine has earned yet another proud moment on the global stage after a group of Korean girls tried nasi lemak for the very first time – and instantly fell in love with it.
In a now-viral TikTok video posted by @more.moment.heather, the girls were introduced to Malaysia's most iconic dish, complete with fragrant coconut rice, spicy sambal, crispy anchovies, peanuts, and a perfectly boiled egg. Their reactions? Pure delight.
From the first bite, they were visibly impressed by how flavourful and well-balanced the dish was. Some were surprised by the sambal's spicy kick, while others couldn't stop praising the crispy chicken. One thing they all seemed to agree on: nasi lemak is seriously good.
The wholesome moment has Malaysians everywhere beaming with pride – because nothing brings people together like good food, and nasi lemak continues to win hearts one plate at a time.
